  • Regain strength and vitality
  • Develop a sustainable active lifestyle

When the root causes go unaddressed, athletes plateau, get injured again, and start to wonder if they're just not built for this. We've seen it thousands of times. And we've seen the opposite: what happens when someone finally gets a real plan.

Junior Grit athletes training
Junior Grit · Ages 10 to 13

Build the athlete before the sport demands it.

Before specialization. Before pressure. Before bad habits set in. Junior Grit is where 10 to 13 year olds learn how to move, listen to their body and push themselves, safely.

The problem

Your child shouldn't get hurt just playing the sport they love.

  • Growing pains that linger, and early overuse injuries no one addresses
  • Weak movement foundations creating problems that compound later
  • Low confidence that doesn't match their actual potential
  • No clear developmental plan, just more reps of the wrong things
The Junior Grit promise

Here's what changes.

01
Coordination and controlImproved body control and stronger, more efficient movement that carries into every sport they play.
02
Real, earned confidenceConfidence that comes from competence, and a kid who looks forward to training instead of dreading it.
03
Built to lastReduced injury risk now and long term, with age appropriate progression at every step.

Our twin boys have grown in both athletic ability and character. Every coach knows them personally and pushes them to develop their specific strengths.

Common questions
Is Junior Grit safe for my 10 year old?

Yes. Everything is age appropriate and coach led. We train movement, coordination and bodyweight strength built specifically for developing bodies, never adult programs scaled down.

My kid plays one sport. Should they specialize?

At this age, broad athletic foundations beat early specialization. Junior Grit builds the movement base that makes them better at the sport they love, and more resilient if they add others.

How big are the groups?

Small enough that every coach knows every athlete by name and can coach each rep. We'll walk you through current group sizes on your consultation call.

How do I get started?

Start with a free consultation, then a GRIT Comprehensive Assessment so we understand exactly where your athlete is before building their plan.

Train smarter. Perform stronger. Play longer.

Break plateaus, prevent injuries and build the durable speed and power that actually shows up in competition. High school, club, college and pro track: the window between 14 and 22 is when ceilings get set, or get capped.

The problem

Why hard working athletes still get stuck.

  • Speed and explosiveness plateaued despite consistent work
  • Recurring injuries interrupting progress every season
  • Fatigue and inconsistency: great one game, invisible the next
  • Hard work without structure burns athletes out
The Gritworks standard

Here's what changes.

01
Sport specific powerFaster acceleration, a higher vertical and explosive strength that shows up in games, not just in the gym.
02
Fewer setbacksLess fatigue and fewer injuries, season after season, so progress never gets reset to zero.
03
Confidence that holdsConsistent confidence under pressure and a longer, more sustainable athletic career.

Common questions
I'm in season. Can I still train here?

Yes. In season training is built around your game schedule. We manage load so you stay fresh, durable and sharp when it counts, rather than beat up.

What sports do you specialize in?

We develop the athlete first. Speed, strength, power and movement transfer to every sport. Programming is then tailored to the demands of your specific sport and position.

I want to play in college. Can you help me get there?

We build the physical profile college programs look for and retest it quarterly, so your progress is measurable. The work is on you. We make sure it's the right work.

How do I start?

Every athlete starts with a free consultation, then the GRIT Comprehensive Assessment. From there we build a plan specific to your age, sport, season and goals.

Common questions
Do I need to be in shape to start?

No. We meet you exactly where you are. The assessment shows us your starting point, and the plan progresses from there at a pace that's right for your body.

I have an old injury. Can you work around it?

Absolutely, that's the point. We build training that respects your history, addresses the imbalances behind the pain and rebuilds strength safely.

How often would I train?

It depends on your goals and schedule. We'll map a realistic, sustainable cadence together on your consultation call.

I've never really lifted before. Is that okay?

More than okay. Coach led sessions mean you're guided through every movement, building confidence and competence from day one.

Another season without answers.

Every season an athlete trains without addressing root issues is another season of limited progress, or another preventable injury. The athletes who thrive aren't always the most talented. They're the ones who trained with a real plan.
